The 2 * is really only available for the nice service. The food, on a Sunday afternoon (13:30), was really bad! Half of the relatively modest buffet consisted of fried food and the rest was overcooked and / or completely over-spiced. The duck, for example, was such a dry and sad sight that I didn't even want to try it. It is very clear to me that I cannot expect star cuisine at a Chinese buffet restaurant. But here the guest is really offered below average in culinary terms. In addition, the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. At our table there were still plenty of leftovers (crumbs, etc.) under a glass plate. If there is such a decorative element in the table, you should also make sure that it is clean under the glass plate. I definitely don't want to eat here anymore.

Of course, the five stars do not mean that you are dealing with a starred kitchen, but nobody expects that either when entering a typical "Chinese restaurant". Compared to other companies in the industry, however, the dishes are consistently very tasty and of high quality. The choice is not at the expense of quality. The staff is not only particularly friendly, they also think for themselves and really give the customer the feeling of being a guest. The special atmosphere in the beautiful room with the high ceilings also adds to the feel-good factor. Full recommendation.

We were there on a Friday evening (during the week) and did not expect that the buffet would be so much smaller. There were exactly 3 types of sushi and only 10 small rolls each, which really tasted like something. The ginger slices that went with it were only scattered in their liquid and don't seem to be too fresh anymore. The crab chips were limp, as if they had been left over from the lunch buffet and not been covered. The ice was watery and appeared to have melted once and then frozen again. Overall, the selection was very clear. Nevertheless: the service was nice and the dessert drink delicious :)

Up to now it has never really been disappointed, the only disadvantage so far was sometimes the buffet, which was sometimes a bit cold.

We went to the China Wok last weekend. Our visit was very pleasant. The safety precautions are followed and the employees are polite and courteous. We would love to come back.

The food was very good! We were all alone in the restaurant last night, which was a shame for the Asus Star restaurant. I think you should support the restaurants nowadays to be able to eat in the restaurants after Covid 19 !!

Very cozy and tasty. For the first time in a restaurant I hear such pleasant relaxed music. Spacious room, not crowded. Large selection of dishes. Tasty grill. Very pleased with the chocolate fountain. Good service. I recommend this place. But before that it’s better not to have a few hours :)

Was the first time at the Chinawok today and I have to say was all in all very satisfied. There was a good selection of hot items. Only I missed a selection of salads, the offered was more than poor. Staff was very friendly and fast. The location and the toilets were clean and handsome

Food not tasty and not fresh. Hard duck probably fried several times. Friday weekly review. The restaurant owner pulls customers to buy drinks despite the customer's unwillingness. Drinks are too expensive. A glass of water without gas is set at the table by the owner 1.99 €. Restaurant I do not recommend. There are more in Velbert and Neviges.

Our visit time 19:30. hardly anything going on a Sunday. First the positive: Nice staff and nice pleasant prices The food is an impertinence. Couple things are cold at the hot buffet! Many dishes are too long and hard. It is not replenished regularly. Never again under the new leadership.

2.5 stars more is not in it. Buffet was hours old and sometimes cold, the partition between the buffet and the seats was dirty, as were the fluorescent tubes above the buffets. Everything seemed somehow neglected. The staff was somehow not there, even though they were sitting in the middle of the room. 33 € for everything is too expensive for me personally

I wouldn't recommend the sushi during the lunch buffet, but everything else is perfect, including the price.

I always go there i love it

This place has horrible quality meat and horrible service! The meat is full of msg and had a sponge like texture. I tried several different kinds of dishes trying to find something I liked from the buffet, but all of the different meats seemed to have the same chewy texture, then when my husband and I did not clean our plates they began to yell at us. Maybe if that had good food I could of eaten it! After that the waitress would not brink us anything else to drink. This is definitely the fakest Chinese I’ve had and I’m from America!
